Hey everyone, Luke Ski here.
This is the first full-fledged non-MarsCon-related Luke Ski Update I've done in about 3 months. Speaking of which, this year's MarsCon was without a doubt, the best, and smoothest, MarsCon to date. And I thank all of you who were there for everything you all did to make this magic happen. I love you all. I'll do a more detailed post tomorrow, or later this week, on my LiveJournal, http://lukeski.livejournal.com. New Luke Ski song at the FuMP dot com: "SPOCK STAR"!
Captain's Log, Stardate -313819.0121448504, I've done many many songs about the Star Trek universe, but I've never done a song that was solely about the characters from the original 1966 TV series. I guess I always figured there were already tons of songs about those guys, so I instead concentrated on making songs about Data, Quark, 7 of 9, Neelix, etcetera. Now with a new prequel film looming, the time finally came for me to boldly go where everybody has gone before.
Background music by the Chief Engineer Emmett of Project Sisyphus. I also want to take a moment to acknowledge the following acts from the FuMP Sideshow, Curt The Camera Guy, C. Roses, Ridikulus, and Insane Ian, who all also did parodies of Rockstar by Nickelback, so please check out their stuff too.
