- New Luke Ski song at the FuMP dot com: "THE DADA SLIDE"!
It all started so innocently with tunes like the Hokey Pokey and the Chicken Dance, then came the Hustle, then the Macarena, and before we knew it we were being inundated with songs with facist MC vocalists commanding throngs of drunken bridesmaids to do the dance moves of his bidding. In my efforts to both destroy and capitalize off of this phenomenon, I have created the new dance sensation that will sweep the nation, "THE DADA SLIDE". I dare you, I f#@%ing DARE you, to play this song at the next dance-related function you attend. Cameo appearances by TV's Kyle, Insane Ian, Soggy Potato Chips, and Odd Austin. Thanks guys.

- "Spock Star" hits #2 on the Mad Music Dementia Top 20!
DJ Particle hosts the Mad Music Dementia Top 20, which is a weekly countdown of the current funny music hits as voted on by the folks signed up at the website The Mad Music Archive, a great resource for comedy music & it's fandom online. The number of people voting has dipped recently, so DJ Particle is asking for more comedy music fans to come register at the website and vote weekly for your favorite funny tunes! Signing up is free, and you can do so here: http://www.themadmusicarchive.com/signup.aspx . Once you've signed up, you can vote weekly here: http://www.djparticle.com/mmdt20/
On last week's countdown, "Spock Star" was #2 on the coutdown! Thanks to all my fans who voted! I hope you'll keep voting for it in the weeks to come. You're also encouraged to go to the Mad Music Archives and search for my songs individually if you'd like to vote for something that isn't as recent (Ahem, "Too Much Stuff" for example). So please pay those sites a visit and join the fun!
- "Everybody Get Weird" nominated for MAMA!
"Everybody Get Weird", the great Luke Ski's Art Paul Schlosser remix as heard on "The FuMP" dot com and from his most recent CD "Target:Audience" is nominated for a Madison Area Music Award for Pop Song of the Year! No joke! If you'd like to vote for the song, you can sign up to do so at the MAMAs website: http://www.themamas.org/ . Warning, there is a small fee to sign up and vote ($5 I think) which goes to a charity that supports music education in schools. Art Paul is also nominated for Unique Song of the Year, and Unique CD of the Year.
