The #1 song on Dr. Demento's Funny 25 of 2014, "Fake Adult", my hip-hop tribute to my own sense of inadequacy as a functioning post-pubescent person, has been nominated for Outstanding Original Comedy Song of 2014 for the 5th Annual Logan Whitehurst Memorial Awards for Excellence in Comedy Music. I can't tell you how proud I am to have been nominated in the Original Song category for the first time. Thank you so much to all the fans who suggested my songs, and to the jurors to picked it to be one of the five nominees. I'm up against some stiff competition from some of my very talented friends.
